Florence Nightingale Comes Home for 2020

Molly Case's talk to our Nursing Discussion Event

Back in September 2019, we organised a training day for nurses and nursing students at the University's Institute for Mental Health. The themes of the day were critical reflection in nursing, and reflecting on what Florence Nightingale’s personal and professional struggle means for nurses in the Midlands today.

We invited Molly Case, a nurse, writer and spoken word artist, to come and give a talk as part of the day's events. Molly was speaking as part of her promotional tour for her excellent book How to Treat People - A Nurse at Work.
